Administrative Assistant for IT Consulting Company
Location: Clayton, Missouri Work Style: Hybrid Industry: Technology Salary Range: $35K to $40K
The Administrative Assistant serves as the right hand to the Managing Partner, providing administrative, scheduling, and workflow support across all areas of the business. You will help manage priorities, track deadlines, coordinate communication, for the MD and the other team members.
Our client is an established IT consulting company based in Clayton, Missouri with a small but growing team of about 15 employees. They provide a range of services for mostly SME in the Midwest. The company has a very open, flat system and is a very welcoming environment. Most people are hybrid and come into the office about 2-3 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the Managing Partner’s calendar, meetings, travel, and daily workflow
Track tasks, deadlines, and follow-ups to ensure projects stay on schedule
Prepare and edit emails, documents, presentations, and meeting notes
Coordinate communication with clients, partners, and vendors
Assist with event coordination for conferences, board meetings, and industry programs
Organize files, maintain office operations
Manage the hardware inventory and keep records of the assets
Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Proactively identify issues and help streamline processes
Qualifications
3+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or Office Manager
Experience supporting a senior executive or business owner preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
Self-starter who can work independently and anticipate needs
Basic bookkeeping or accounting experience needed
Compensation & Benefits
$35,000 – $40,000 base salary, based on experience
