The motivation to start Motionworks Careers came from a shift in the market around 2017 after LinkedIn was acquired by Microsoft and the market changed to more of a branding market instead of a traditional recruiting market. As candidates became more selective in their professional lives, the market needed a different approach to reach new talent pools.
